For Round 2 of Redemption Grand Prix #1, I decided to revisit my favorite deck of all time: Impartial PostEs. This deck came about during the 2019-2020 season and revolved around getting Jeshua early, generating a massive amount of value through Territory Class Enhancements, and then pulling off an Impartial Judgment for as many as needed on turn 1 or 2 to wipe out all your opponent's evil cards and then walk in for some freebies will keeping the hand pressure going. Unfortunately, the advent of the Reserve rule, the 1 TC Enhancement per turn rule, and the current card pool that punishes high brigade count offenses, this deck doesn't function nearly at the same level it once did. However, I still think there's plenty to explore with this offense and this version of it is just the beginning. Time will tell what Joiada is capable of.
For this round I was paired against Caleb Arguna ("Arguna" on Discord), but unfortunately I made the mistake of not pressing "record"... So instead of the actual gameplay, this week's video is just an overview of the deck and a play-by-play summary of the game immediately after it was played. Figured it was still worth capturing the gist of the game and will hopefully record another soon with a version of this deck.
