A new version of the Paragon Format Rules is now available. There is a clarification about "If attacked" abilities, a new rule about the retired brigades, and other adjustments for clarity and detail.
If you're going to Nationals this month (July 2026), then don't forget to sign up for the Paragon side event!
As of the time of writing, 33 players have registered. If we reach 36 players by Tuesday, July 7 at 5:00 p.m. PST, then we will unlock prizes for 4th place, and if we reach 41 players by that time, we will unlock prizes for 5th place. So don't delay! Maybe you can convince your buddies to sign up, too.

Remember, everyone who participates in this free event receives a "Paragon Intro Pack" and is entered into a raffle for a $100 Your Turn Games gift card!
Clarification: "If Attacked" Abilities
If a player decides to defend, any “If attacked” abilities (e.g., Philistine Outpost) they have activate at that moment.
Only the player who defends is considered to have been attacked.
New Rule: Retired Brigades
Because the Paragon-legal card pool does not include the retired brigades (red, teal, and evil gold), these brigades are considered not to exist.
If you ever have to choose a brigade (such as when converting a character), you cannot choose red, teal, or evil gold.
Other Updates
Various minor changes to wording and graphics have been made for added clarity and detail.
The example Paragon images now feature Deborah in the new card template instead of the old one.
The deck building section now contains a link to RedemptionCCG.app for the easiest Paragon deck building available.
